TomTom and Microsoft's Partnership for Generative Models in Automobile Software

This chapter explores the collaboration between TomTom and Microsoft to introduce generative models in automobile software, enabling users to control different aspects of their car using natural language. The chapter highlights the integration of OpenAI's LLMs, Azure Cognitive Services, and Microsoft's multi-model Azure Cosmos DB, which will be available in TomTom's Open Modular Digital Cockpit software and can be adopted by other automakers.
