The Life and Times of David Lynch and Mark Frost
David Lynch and Mark Frost met in 1987 when they were working on a film project about Marilyn Monroe. Together, the pair set out to reimagine the genre of the nighttime soap. One day while Lynch and Frost were at a coffee shop brainstorming ideas for this new TV show, Frost recalled stories his grandmother told him from upstate New York.
