Is There a Lack of Policy Coordination?
I think it matters quite a lot actually what the UK policy makers but also what the society does there how they react. It matters actually for every country and probably just coming back to the inflation picture or the inflation issue what we experienced last year. Japan where fiscal and monetary policy choose a very coordinated answer to this price shock by dampening the prices in exchange not increasing rate that aggressively or not at all. Other countries are somewhere in between Switzerland for example also quite coordinated policy here avoiding that fiscal policy adds to this price pressures.
