The Importance of Self-Government
In order to make culture, the first thing you have to be able to do is to make people. The church doesn't make people and the civil magistrate don't make people. So the moral understanding of how we interact with each other comes from particular two governments first. Then the family takes the word of God, which is an umbrella of all of this. And we start exercising the morality, the doctrine, the teachings that God has for us in our home.
