The Importance of Intermittent Fasting for Weight Loss

The longer you go without eating, the lower your insulin goes. That's where fasting comes in and holds hands perfectly with keto or carnivore. I typically fast until somewhere between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m., which leaves me with a fasting window of 18 to 22 hours. Every day I don't even think about eating. It gives me much more time to do stuff. But if I were still overmuch overweight at 2 years old, I would start doing intermittent fasting for 7 days as long as I could not eat anything else.
