I Think It's a Very, Very Important Point

i think there is a lot of power in calling out these scapegoat ritual sacrificial rituals, however you kind of want to call it. I agree pretty much completely with your with your characterization of it. People intuitively understand that it is wrong to blame one person for a vast, complex array of problems. And so i think it's a very important point. It reminds me of a point that ivan ilitch makes which is that as long as people are in a ritual, and they don't see it for what it is, the ritual is thet to completely determine their view of the world.
