The Selection: A Transition From Sober to Sober
I think that book is really about a transition. And the transition, which I never really say is the variety is I didn't die. That was the big thing. I was ready to die at 33. The funniest thing about the selected is that some place in the arts,. I was approached by an editor to give poems for an Italian women's poetry anthology. and so I made this little collection of poems for this person. They didn't use me in the anthology. But that became the core of my selected. Then I kept adding into it, you know. It just wasn't, it's just, it's so there that it's just a part of me.
