The Role of Solo GPs in Early Stage Investing
I tend to really like solo GPs or small partnerships. I think their performance is generally quite good. It's a good fit for the model of can you assess credibility of a deal that might not even be a company yet. There's some earlier stage where in general a partnership structure is hard to make work well because you are looking for fairly disruptive companies. The idea of going broad for early investing has been more accepted for LPs.
