Russian and Pro-Russian Information Operations - What's the Risk?
The success of Russian and pro-Russian information operations is as much about our failures as it is about the success. There's a recognition within the social media community, within the elections community that we weren't prepared. We need to not let complacency come into the picture earths at any moment. The technologies that are out there are pretty rough at the moment, but these are only going to get more refined and attempts are getting more sophisticated. These are the sort of challenges we're facing. It's only by understanding what these threats are that we'll be able to respond to them.
