I had a French test recently as part of my application for French citizenship. The minimum requirement for the citizenship is B one, which I managed to get. But in the speaking exam, it was similar to an IELTS one where the first part is basically kind of questions about you and little introductory questions. That's when you've got to pull up pulling up big guns with your language capability, so to speak. So I did my absolute best in the first part where it was like quite chatty and stuff. And then it was, it was... As the test progressed, my French deteriorated as it went on.
