The Harmony of the West and the West

The West is not just an imaginary kind of chauvinism or a personal pride in where I happen to come from. It's the harmony between two separate traditions that were both moving toward this ultimate reality. When we get to talking about wisdom, we have to start talking about scripture. And especially when we're talking now about this kind of more theological or philosophical aspect of it, we've got to bring in Jerusalem.
