Is the Urine Electrolyte a Good Test?

There are still some believers in urine electrolytes. Does this extend to things like looking at the urine specific gravity? Can those be helpful if you're trying to determine these things? What are the problems with specific gravity is if you have an ATI kind of situation you're going to get a 1010 on that specific gravity no matter what's going on in the kidney. So then you don't know what that means.
