Try and Leave This World a Little Better Than You Found It

i think the way our world is evolving, we need to increasingly be in the business of preventing crises, rather than getting better responding to them. And so that's what that quote meant to me, is to think, how can we leave this place a little bit better than we found it? Can we give an answer to that m i t professor's question about, have we ever done something that would benefit future generations without necessarily looking at our own interests?
