The Practicing Mind by Timothy Galway

The whole point of being in the zone is that your self-one is not distracting yourself too this connect to and is quite similar to Sterners paradox as I'll call it when before we looked at the book The Practicing Mind. When you praise somebody the person hears a positive judgment which means they won't necessarily be particularly concerned with whether it's positive or negative but with the fact that it is a judgment. This idea of compliments tripping people up and getting people thinking too much leads in somewhat to the idea of judgment which is also a central concept in Timothy Galway's book.
