I remember maybe three or four months in. By that point, we were doing a tour on Sunday and then a walking tour on Wednesday. And I remember my mom would call me every Sunday at four o'clock. My tours ended at 3 30. She knew that at 4 o'clock, I would be walking toward the path train to go back to the boat. A few months in saying, I was in a groove today. Like I, it all worked. It all made sense. Because I never sat down and wrote a script.
Long before Scott Wiener was the founder of a popular pizza tour company, he was just a guy who really loved to eat pizza. He talks with Maya about how he turned his unabashed enthusiasm into a mini empire. P.S. Stick around for a fun trivia game at the end, featuring the one and only Jimmy Li.
If you enjoyed this episode, you may also enjoy Maya's conversation with chef Christine Ha, who goes by the nickname "The Blind Cook."
