The Viral Cycle of Family Interactions

My six-year-old son really knows how to get under my skin, negotiates for everything. I know lowering to his level is wrong, but I simply can't redirect in that moment. There's a general lack of respect in our home. And I'd like to restore some order and peace. Well, so a good question to ask. Maybe having someone who could do some sort of family therapy or some parent guidance might actually help break the cycle.
