Is the Fed Really Hitting the Target?
If you look at an economic cycle like this, there's usually further dominoes that have to fall. And if those don't fall, then that would make us regage our thesis. If you really don't see any increase in the unemployment rate over the course of this year, that might suggest to us that this time is playing out differently than in the past. But historically, whenever the Fed raises rates this much, they're going to break something. From our viewpoint, we think that that's still the more likely outcome.
