The Curse of Micah Rood
The tree stood and thrived until 1938. It was blown over by a hurricane. People took pieces of the branches and tried to replicate the apples, but they never could. There are some legends that say there are traces of red in some of these strains,. That's so interesting. I think it was more Micah's curse than anybody else's.
