We're not supposed to get grow up and start to just assume things or a certain way. We actually believe we know something when we know nothing at all. It would be better if we were like that little boy in thetheatre, and we question everything. In fact, jesus tells us to do that. He says to learn this course requires you to question every value that you hold. Not one can be kept den or it will obscure your learning. So another quote from jesus, be not afraid.
