It seems like the Mac Pro was made for people in recording studios, basically. The way I interpreted that was basically this does not fit into the direction we've chosen to go. It's not entirely clear to me how you'd bring in another GPU and do so in a way that is optimized can be read multiple ways. Apple makes all sorts of stuff internally than never says lead a day.
