The Role of SPF in Sunscreen Safety
If you have a claim of SPF, that basically makes the product a drug. You don't have much of a choice here, because it's rules and regulations. In Canada, it could be a DIN product, an NHP product. It depends on the jurisdiction as to what that regulatory classification is. And we have one more question before we close this panel from Eve who asks, what about UVA safety? Many sunscreens still have lower UVA screening than UVB screening effect.
