The Power of Standards Design

There's one form of leverage which does not have economic benefit to most people that created but has tremendous power and honestly, it's very fulfilling. A well designed standard will outlive any code that you write. And that those standards which are well designed live on. I think that the people, the developers, especially who put a lot of heart and soul and effort into designing standards should be rewarded for their work.
