Should Everyone Win an Argument?
The book is not just about arguing, it is about public speaking. There's a lot of walks of life where we could improve both the nature of our discourse and our ability to defend our positions. It frustrates me when people I agree with or like or think should win an argument, lose. That kind of stuff gives me an ulcer when I see that on TV. The idea that you can run away from arguments in the public space - why we're living right now?
