The Book of Daniel - The Third Ruler
Belshazzar summons the enchanters, the chaldeans and the astrologers. The promise that there would be the third ruler in the kingdom fits with what we know of belshazzar. By this point, daniel is likely in his eighties and has been out of the service of the king for some time. Daniel refuses the gifts of the king, but says that he would read the writing and make known the interpretation.
