For the first time, we have a machine that makes what I today would consider an espresso. Rich and creamy, sumptuous, and most importantly, for the first time we have crema on the coffee. This machine produced that dark velvety foam that floats the top of an espresso. Carrema. So when this started, they actually called it clamour cafe cream coffee to distinguish it from what was being made before espresso.
