Ubuntu: The First Release to Have More Official Variants
It's also the first Ubuntu release to have more official variants they added in this release cycle. The installer should also be faster to complete an install than the previous one which is nice. For those who want ZFS or ZFS file system support there will be a legacy ISO that you can download which has the old installer which does support this file system. In terms of Ubuntu specific features they added unread notification counters to the dock on the app icons and revamp settings for disabling mouse acceleration, among others.
