Grace Is a Gift, Not a Condition

Grace is not unconditional because the gift actually has expectations. In other cultures, including jesu and paul's, gifts come with an expectation for a response. Forgiveness both in the lord's prayer and in his parable. Those given the gift of forgiveness are expect by jesus to forgive. Gifts are given out of the desire to establish a connection and build a relationship of reciprocity.
