Is There a Timeframe to Find Your Icy Guy?

I love this idea of digging deeper because I think that's where a lot of the rich stuff is. And perhaps that's the reason some people give up on their icky guy or are afraid to approach it. It's like, what if I don't ever figure it out? Is there a point at which we'll never find it and does it change throughout our life? The timeframe to find your icky guy is to make sure you do it before you die.
