The Fall of Qui Quilko and the Establishment of Teo Tuwakan

The eruption of shetle, the abandonment of qui quilko and the establishment of teo tuwakan were all supposed to have happened in the later stages of the first millennium. The fact that t tuakan had already become a highly significant settlement by that time points towards a more complicated sequence of events. Even though the emergence of tiotakan is traditionally discussed as something that happened in the early first millennium, it is speculated that small settlements have existed since around 600 b c e.
