Exporting Extra Virgin Olive Oil to the International Market?
A lot of lebanese have replaced olive oil in their cooking with vegetable oil that's imported. Until recently, it was actually cheaper to use imported vegetable oil than it was to use locally grown olive oil. To day, about half of lebanon's wine is exported. So the idea is that if they can create ehiand lebones, all oil that can also be exported. Perhaps they can use wine as a road map to get there.
