The US Recession: What's Next?
There are a few indicators that have had a reasonable hit rate calling US recessions in the past ahead of time. I think the interest rate shock of last year will take a while to be absorbed into the system and to have its effects. The private sector still has a bit of excess savings, some dry powder squirreled away for a star. And also you're probably seeing an investment pick up in a number of areas potentially, at least sort of one coming down the road.
