The Impact of RERA on Housing Prices

Before RERA was introduced, potential home buyers had no information about whether a project was litigated or not. As a result of which the prices of litigate units were not distinguishable from the prices of non-litigation units. Post implementation of RARA, we see the prices of Litigating units being about 5 to 6% lower than the prices ofNon-litished units. This price differential is not uniform across different sub-markets and for different types of buyers. We do see evidence for that in the study but we can talk about this more in detail later.
