How Do You Come Out With These Things?
I think it's a lot about timing. And sometimes we're really fussy down to the frame. There's no formula, so it's just about your gut. A lot of what we wind up doing is eliminating distractions. I think clarity is the real key. Don't know what's happening, who's where and in at all moments. Unless that's the comedy is about being disoriented. If it isn't, like speelburg, clear what’s happening, the joke is ruined. Eh, that makes sense actually.
