For the first couple years of the lunar program gateway was where we were kind of pushing all these international contributions to. I don't think it was a secret that they were all doing that in hopes that they will then have an astronaut on the lunar surface someday so how do you see that kind of thing playing out? "Once we are able to go if the lander works successfully people gateway will become less important," he says.
