Eric Schmitt, a sixth-generation Missourian, grew up in a working-class family in Bridgeton, Missouri. He served in various roles in Missouri’s state legislature, including State Senator, State Treasurer, and Attorney General, before being elected to the U.S. Senate in 2022. As a U.S. Senator, Schmitt prioritizes protecting free speech, fighting the administrative state, and advocating for Missourians.
