Am I Just Uncomfortable?

Kathy: It's a little difficult to talk about my race and ethnicity in a pretty non diverse environment. Am, you know, put on the spot, forced to talk about something about yourself that is different. And it can be easy to feel tokenized, too. So, kathy, i would love to know, am i just awkward and awful, or is that a fairly common experience?
