Both parties seem to think that the other side has far more decision power. The consumer side is actually, contrary to perhaps popular opinion about these back door deals and so on, actually does have quite a bit of voting power in the way that these things are played out. And yet, i mean, maybe i'm reading this wrong, but it seems like there's actually a note of optimism in this. I mean, at least in this particular limited case in the art that you're looking at, there's an argument to be made that, i god, democracy actually works here.
