What Is Paleontology?
Paleontology is the study of life in the past, mostly through fossils. Fossils have to be at least ten thousand years old to be considered a fossil. The word "fossil" comes from the latin for obtained by digging. Michael didn't decide he wanted to be a paleontologist until later in life.
