Lewis was always trying to find a way, how do I get this to be digestible for the everyday person, which is why he said he had to have it. He knew that's why he made Jane and Mark academics. He needed something that he could touch. One of the most powerful moments for me is the scene where Mark is being he's being tortured in a sense, he's taken into this room. It was those images that were just nudging him slightly like it was just off a bit. And I think that that's sort of the moment where we're at currently, because what starts in the abolition of man has nothing to do with academics itself.
