The Role of Culture in Gout Management
The first thing which is really important is to effectively treat and manage the Gout flare. We can't just say, oh, you know, you'll feel so much better in a year once you've been on LOPurinol for all that time. And again, I think often we don't do that very well. So actually making sure that the person has an action plan for managing flares,. treating flares as soon as they start to get that tingle in their joint, doing that safely. That's part of the whole treatment approach.
