The Rise of Elagabolas

Elagabolas and his extended family finally arrived in Rome in the autumn of 2019. Julia Misa ensured that the sever and dynasty was firmly re-intrenched in the hearts and minds of the Romans, by forcing the Senate to deify both Caracao and her sister Julia Domna. She then finally got her own taste of real authority by graciously accepting the title Augusta, which the Senate had generously foisted upon her and Elagabolas' mother.
