Principles for Understanding a Situation

A lot of the principles that I'm finding are very common. If you want to understand a situation, you have to immerse yourself in that situation. In humanitarian aid world, there are rules. You can't just walk through the camp because it's dangerous. But at the same time, that means you can't really understand the situation.
