The Internet Would Fall Apart Without Super Accurate Timing

There's not an infrastructure in the modern world that doesn't rely on super accurate timekeeping. So there's about 100 satellites over our heads right now, and all they are is flying clocks. And each one's got three or four super accurate atomic clocks onboard - probably the size of a shoebox. The signals coming from those clocks is really, really weak, and it's really easy to jam either through space, weather or deliberately using devices you can buy on the internet cheaply. It could be straightforward to have people think their GPS is telling them they're somewhere and it's actually somewhere else.
