The Multiple Meanings of the Word Plot
The title plot was the reason the word is the title is because of the multiple meanings. And it contained both the idea of a storyline, a plot, and a plan, obviously, and also a grave. The word became a kind of umbrella word. There are many words within the book that are pulled out of their adjacency to another word. We are independent people, but we are in adjacent to those of us who are around us, and having to make adjustments to that all the time.
