The Trees of the Past
Trees operate at a different pace from us, says Robi. They don't move in the same way that humans do. The geological landscape moves at a slower pace as well. When i moved to rural essex I planted a tree on two acres of land. And it's not a lebonese cedar because people have said now it's not an oak. It did strange things in terms of meditative process - feeling calm and peaceful. But about going, sitting and stepping almost into that oak, time tat slows us. You have to slow you down.
