The current PE of the S&P 500 is some... I just looked up before the show is around 25 price to earnings for all the 500 companies combined which gives you an earnings yield of 4%. The 10-year treasury yield is currently at 4.2%. So what this tells me is that the United States is considered one of the safest in the world even after the downgrade we had. And it has been proven right whether the market was really expensive at the top in 2021 or now when it's the AI hype is again now we are benefiting from insurance stocks. That was clearly like the first half year heavily beaten down as example real estate investment trust and so on.
In today's show, we are discussing our thoughts about Macro numbers and the news around it. We get often questions about this so we felt that it was about time to spend a little bit more time on this to explain our thoughts.
Besides this, we discuss earnings from Ahold Delhaize, Allianz and Siemens. Last but not least, we address many of your questions.
Enjoy the pod and C U on the inside!
