Is Wi-Fi Really a Wise Technology?
In Wi-Fi, it is possible for multiple devices to transmit at the same time. And then that signal gets all troubled up because it's the same frequency. The way Wi-Fi works is because it will listen on the RF on the medium before it even transmits. It listens and goes, do I detect a signal? If I do, I'm just going to wait. Listen to the detection. That was like the old switching we used to do the CSMDA,. Remember? Yeah, but it's avoidance in Wi-Fi.
