The Turring Machine Is a Logical Construct That Can Be Implemented on Any Kind of Computer
The concept of the turring machine is a logical construct. It can be defined as a logical process that can be implemented on any sort of machine. And more most importantly, a turring machine doesn't necessarily have to be purpose built. So we're well beyond 50 years from the time that paper was written. We can now sort of look back and say, was he right? Was he pressint in this way?
