Muscle Burns More Calories Than Any Tissue in Your Body
Muscle burns more calories than any tissue in your body. Per pound of muscle, your body burns additional 50 to a hundred calories per day. If you gain five pounds of muscle over the span of a year, which i think as can be pretty normal in a programme like mine, you could be burning in additional 500 calories per day even if you don't work out. This will allow you more freedom with your food, because your body will burn more calories at rest. However, a mistake that i see with people that do a lot of cardio and thei're not strength training, is that they're trying to lose weight. So ive talked this alat i did a podcast about metabolism
