Medicare and Medicaid: A Different Ball Game
Some of those may be associated with a state Medicaid that didn't pay for e-prescribing so that data is not there. They are not available because these are uninsured patients or because just the information were not entered in the EMR. CMS two years ago passed a rule that requires part new payers to provide a real-time benefit connection. So now if you're a Part D plan, you have to do the type of data exchange that we provide.
